Analysis of Yi Lite Action Camera
Lite version of the Yi 4K. We see a reduction of the LCD panel to two inches. The sensor grows to 16 megapixels and from here everything else decreases. Its lens has an angle of 150º with a focal 2.8, its battery is 1,200mAh, and it is capable of recording video in 4K at 15fps.

The touchscreen works surprisingly well. The quality of the image is very good. Make sure to buy a high-speed SD card to avoid interruptions during recording. It's not the camera's fault, but some SD cards are faster than others. My only complaint would be with loading the camera in the car. As soon as you connect the USB charging cable, the camera thinks that it is trying to transfer the video from the SD card. To control the camera, you need to start recording and then plug in the charger cable. All the cheap cameras I've owned act the same way.
I've wanted a little sports camera for a long time. I was thinking of buying a GoPro, but they are too expensive and I have heard a lot of negative things about them. This action camera is amazing for what it costs. I am happy and more than satisfied with the quality of the 4K video and images. Some of the excellent features is that its touch screen (2.0 inches), connects to WiFi, has a long battery life, a little over two hours, which is enough for me. It has a lock function so you don't accidentally record or take a photo. It has an elegant black color. I just wish it had come with a microSD card and accessories. I suggest anyone who wants a reliable little action camera buy this one ... well worth it!
I was reading reviews and it sounded good so I decided to give this camera a try. When I tested the camera recording videos there was a beep in the video. I thought it was silly when replaying, but it wasn't. Image quality is bad too. When I turned it off it was on, and when I turned it on it was turned off.
Amazing camera for such a great price. It does a great job. I used to have a Sony and this camera is as good as the Sony one. The audio is pretty good for the size, the only issue I found was wind noise which is unavoidable, I really wish it had a help for a windproof mic as I'm a car enthusiast. The touchscreen and many options like the Yi camera app make this a breeze to set up and record. The playback feature is impressive, but I definitely recommend using the app to play your videos on the phone. The battery lasted for about five hours, I turned it off when it was obviously not in use, and I recorded 20-30 minutes of video between all the clips I captured. In my opinion, shooting at night with this camera is not the best. If you're looking for an inexpensive camera with tons of features and great quality, bother no more. This is the best you can get for the price. And the next updates are rumored to allow the Lite to record in 4K. Don't hesitate to buy it now.
First of all: don't even attempt a video indoors unless it's in really good light. The aperture is 2.8, the lower the better. My Samsung S7 phone is 1.7 and the video indoors is roughly a million times better. This Yi Lite is outdoors only, unless you like grainy video ... I compared the settings and came up with something that I think gets the most out of this camera. The resolution is 720/30, because higher I was not impressed and it seemed like a memory leak. 30FPS is only good when you select LDC (ON) which smooths 30 FPS so there is no need to have 60. LDC is my favorite setting, it removes square distortion and apparently even smooths choppy video so you can use 30 FPS. They need the Yi app on their phone to download the latest firmware which adds auto ISO, which is very important. The touch screen is a very good thing. The lens cover is not included, and to make matters worse, the lenses stretch to scratch or crack if dropped. I really wish it had an aperture of 2.0 or less. This camera has incredible image stabilization, as good or better than the SJCam M20, and much better stabilization than any flagship phone or SLR. This is why we need action cameras. For a cheap action camera, I recommend it.
