Redmi Router AX5

Update

This router crosses the Chinese border under the name of Mi Router AX1800, which has little to do with the AX1800 model presented in China.

Redmi brings us a new router, innovative and with great features.

Equipped with a Qualcomm IPQ 6000 processor, with 4 CPU cores A53 1.2GHz and an NPU 1.5GHz, plus 256 MB of memory.

It is capable of managing up to 128 devices.

It supports 2x2 in the 2.4GHz band with a maximum theoretical speed of 574 Mbps, and 2x2 in 5GHz band with a maximum theoretical speed of 1021 Mbps.

In addition, its strong point is its compatibility with WiFi 6, with which it can achieve a maximum speed of 1775 Mbps.

It has Mesh support, with which 2 or more routers can be combined to create a wide, stable, and secure network.

It also adds OFDMA. This function allows splitting data transmission signals into smaller signals, thus increasing the speed and efficiency of the network.

Equipped with Beamforming, WPA 3 encryption, BSS Coloring, and equipped with 4 antennas of 5dB.
