It is a router with a large number of available bands. Its design is minimalist and, in fact, does not remind the classic device of this type. This is a positive aspect, although it is more reminiscent of a smart speaker. Regarding ports, it has four Ethernet connections, the power port that can be connected to a USB plug, since a cable is included that has a port with this termination for input and the characteristic and exclusive port of this device for output.

The most important aspect besides connectivity is the number and type of bands that the device has. In this case, we have the 2.4 GHz band and the 5 GHz band, using the latter for devices closer to the router, in exchange for a significant increase in transfer speed. The 2.4 GHz band will be used for more distant devices, with a more stable connection. It allows us to configure local networks and our devices are not only connected to the network but can also be connected to each other. It has facilities to configure home automation devices of Xiaomi brands or sub-brands. From the MiWiFi App, we can configure the connected devices, assign properties, and give them privileges, or deny them.
