I've been through a lot of routers, but this is the easiest to configure and the best performing. Now I've had a high-priced Asus router that has always been a problem to set up. The signal strength is also very good. The only downside is that it is higher than other routers I've used, but the performance is outstanding.
I have bought three. Good coverage, with good administrative controls. The signal is noticeably weaker than what we had on an Asus router four years ago. For a large home I think it is best to have a router that has better coverage.
This router is perfect. It works well. It has the perfect application for Android devices for English configuration from google appstore. The router comes in Chinese language, but the app is in English.
The router and devices are smart enough to choose the fastest and most efficient radio. The smartphone app is nice to use and easy to set up with basic functionality. The app allows you to take a quick look to see which devices are connected.
Setting up the guest network is just as simple if someone wants to use it for visitors instead of connecting to your home network or doesn't want to reveal their password and thus allows you to configure preferred devices if you want without MAC filtering or additional.
Since I connect it to 5g it only gives me 2.4g
This router does not support the 5GHz network.
Good afternoon. How can you configure remote web access?
I don't know if you have tried to enter the advanced settings. Try this: To configure my Xiaomi 4C router in an advanced way, we enter its interface with the IP address of the router that is noted on its label. It is advisable to do it from Google Chrome, because the instructions are in Chinese and from this browser it is easy to do the translation. The next step is to enter the password that we placed in the initial configuration. When we connect, we will see the status of the Xiaomi 4C device on the welcome screen. From there we can also see the devices that are connected and the status of the memory or CPU. Next we click on the relay set, this is the translation that Google gives you. In that option, we can configure the 2.4G or 5G networks, which are in the first tab called Wi-Fi. In the internet settings, we can choose if we want to use the Xiaomi 4C device as the main router or as a repeater. This option is also where we choose the network to which we want to connect to repeat. From this advanced configuration, we enter the security center of the Xiaomi 4C router and we can change the device administrator password. Finally, we find the system status tab. There we can update the system, make backup copies and restore the configuration. From this tab we can also configure the language and if we want, we can configure the date and time.
How can I enter the router through the wan? In the tplink it is possible, but in this router it only gives ping but no web access
Try entering this address: http://www.miwifi.com/
Hello... How can I change the password of the router when I entered the browser with HTTP://192.168.31.1 from the PC or mobile I get prohibited access
It should let you access that address (http://192.168.31.1/cgi-bin/luci/web), maybe you should try another browser. You can also try accessing the router from the Mi Home App.
How to configure my Xiaomi router
Once the router is connected, you must enter the address miwifi.com or 192.168.31.1. You can also try from the Mi Home app, or even try it from the Chinese Mi WiFi App (http://www1.miwifi.com/app_download.html). Remember that this router works as an access point in most cases (traditional operators), so you will have to connect the xiaomi router to the company's router.
