In this case, we have a smartwatch made by the people of Huami, from the Amazfit series. This is not the first smartwatch they have launched on the market, and you may want to know more about its features, so we are going to focus on the analysis of this version.

First, we have to clarify that this is the 42 mm diagonal version. Its design is equally elegant and minimalist, with built-in aluminum, with a bezel made of ceramic. It is available in four colors: black, white, red and gold. In certain markets, there's a version with 60 Austrian zirconias. It is important to always remember with this type of device that the straps are interchangeable for any 22 mm strap, and are easily obtained or can be reused from other similar watches we already have.

This model has a 1.2 inches diagonal AMOLED screen. Its resolution allows calculating a density of 325 pixels per inch (ppp). For this section, different watchfaces are included via software to further customize the device. It has a configurable continuous on-screen mode so that we would not have to make gestures to check the time. However, this reduces the battery life at the end of each cycle. In this mode, the time and day of the week are shown, in a very minimalist way trying to have many pixels off, taking advantage of the AMOLED technology to try to spend little energy. Anyway, this mode will always spend more energy than having the screen off when we are not using it.

The battery can last up to 12 days with average use, depending on the manufacturer. The capacity is 195 mAh. If we restrict the functions, the battery can last up to 34 days, while it would last 22 hours of continuous GPS use. It is water-resistant, up to a depth of 50 m or 5 atm pressure. It is not recommended for diving. Includes 12 sport modes that can be configured from the Amazfit App. Like the other intelligent devices similar to this one, they allow the monitoring of the physical activity through a step counter and a heart rate reader, as well as integrated GPS. It also includes an NFC chip to make payments in different markets. It allows you to answer calls thanks to its integrated microphone, program alarms, timers, stopwatch, notifications, etc.

On its right side, it includes two physical buttons. The one on the top serves to turn on the screen if we make a short press, but if we press more than 10 seconds continuously, it turns off the device. The lower button has direct access to the sport functions, although it is configurable.

It is compatible with Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and with iOS 10 (watch out for iPhone 6 that has not been updated due to battery life). Its dimensions are 42.6 x 42.6 x 9.2 mm, and it weighs 25.5 g without a strap.
